VINTAGE BOTAS BALDERAS WESTERN BOOTS

Vintage Botas Balderas western cowboy boots made in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. The original interior label identifies “SUELA CUERO” (leather sole) and “CORTE PIEL VACUNO” (bovine/cowhide upper). The boots are extensively leather lined and feature a warm brown finish, pointed western toe, decorative multi-row shaft stitching, crocodilian-pattern embossed/patterned cowhide accents, traditional pegged/nailed waist construction, and a substantial western heel. The molded Balderas/Botas mark on the heel provides a second maker identification.

Condition appears lightly worn to very good for age, with supple-looking leather, attractive patina, intact stitching, and limited sole and heel wear. Approximate measurements are an 11-inch outsole, about 4 inches across the widest forepart, a 1¾-inch heel, and roughly 13 inches overall height.
