Fry Boots

These boots were designed and made by the craftsmen at Fry Boots. Genuine cowhide leather makes up the bottom of the boots with the shafts made of cow hid as well. The soles of the boots are made of leather.

Our process of revitalizing vintage cowboy boots consist of a multistage system to ensure that our client receives a pair of cowboy boots that can be worn with pride.

Boots are treated with Microban professional 24 hour bacteria spray (kills 99.9% of bacteria for 24 hours), followed with 10 Seconds brand disinfectant, fungicidal, bacteria and sanitizer. Afterwards, the boots are submitted to a minimum of 12 hours of direct sunlight. This is the exact process we have used for our personal boot collection for years

This pair of Fry boots have undergone a substantial cleaning and conditioning process. Three applications of Bick 4 leather conditioner have been applied to the inside of the boots.

The boots have undergone a substantial transformation at our studio. The original dye was removed, the leather prepared for new dye and multiple applications of Angelus leather dye in medium dark brown applied to create the desired new color, with a smooth finish.

This special pair of boots have our Shifters multi-faceted sole art that required many hours of work to create. Twenty coats of Angelus green leather dye is underneath the shifter paint. On the heels are Victory bottle caps attached with ultra strong permanent adhesive. The heels, soles and the stitching are protected with Angelus scratch resistant urethane clear coat. The welt stitching has shifters special paint and the urethane clear coat as well.

The art work is very subtle and changes in different lighting.
